The Crosses at the Box R Ranch are open to the public for viewing.

The Crosses are located on a mountain bluff overlooking a creek surrounded by meditative trails, vista points and Scriptures carved in stone.

Tour is self-guided. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

Friday & Saturday 10 am to 5 pm.
Sunday 1 pm to 5 pm.
Please stop at office upon arrival.

Paint with the Masters series.  Featuring resident artist Chris Hopkins www.chrishopkinsart.com , Thomas Blackshear www.blackshearonline.com and David R. Darrow. www.darrowart.com. Paint with the masters and enjoy the camaraderie of other artists who desire to pursue excellence and bring glory to God through their art. Registration begins January 15th, 2012.

July 1 - 5th - Starting Monday, July 1st the Outback campground will be open for families. Enjoy a bunkalow ($55 per night) or teepee ($45/nt) , or bring your own RV/tent/trailer ($29/nt). Enjoy "at your own pace" archery, paintball, challenge course, swimming, bucking barrel, campfires and more. (Some additional activity charges may apply) Reservations recommended well in advance.

Wed, July 4th - Celebration (for Ranch overnight guests only)

Fried Chicken Dinner, world's largest (almost) banana split, fireworks for the kids, music and patriotic message with owner, Don Rowlett . $15 for adults/ $10 for ages 8 - 14, $5 ages 3 - 7

Thursday, July 5th - Give mom another break from cooking while camping. Guest Dinner available at Outback Cookhouse.

Then Family Camp starts July 6 for all campers.

The Box R Ranch invites you and your family to slow things down and experience the meaningful joys of a simpler way of life together. This year's theme, "Our Future Destination: Moving Forward by Looking Back" will provide a contemporary look at some of the time honored traditions and values of the past.

For two nights and three days, you'll have the opportunity to cherish the wonder of God's creation, participate in family fun with old fashioned games and activities (no electronic devices or batteries required, but a menagerie of new furry, feathered & leathered buddies will be amply supplied for your enjoyment). They'll be archery, zip line, water slide, paintball (extra fee) and kick up your he-haw heels for the Saturday night square dance .
