Accomodations

The Box-R Ranch offers year-round accommodations. Each of our four rentals are ideal for families, church retreats, small groups, business seminars or reunions.

The Box-R Guest Ranch has been a favorite vacation and retreat destination since 1969. Since we are situated in a valley in the top of the Cascade range our guests enjoy beautiful weather all times of the year. So come on up to the mountains and enjoy a relaxing time at the Box-R Guest Ranch.

Our guest facilities consist of 3 Log Cabin Style Houses, and the Historic Ranch House. All are designed for family living or group retreats, and are equipped for your comfort.

The cabins are nestled amongst the pines at the north end of our 100-acre meadow, with a view of the lake from each veranda.

Each cabin is fully carpeted and has two bedrooms (one with a queen sized bed; one with two single beds). Large carpeted lofts have 3 or 4 platform beds with pads and one sleeper sofa or hide-a-beds to accommodate sleeping bags. Linens are furnished for bedrooms and bathrooms but not for loft areas.

Lakeview cabin, in addition to 2 bedrooms, has 2 bathrooms and 2 sleeping lofts. A huge rock fireplace and a woodstove, modern kitchen, washer and dryer and a large porch overlooking the meadow and pond. Maximum capacity of the Lakeview Cabin is 16 persons.

Aspen and Shasta cabins, in addition to 2 bedrooms, have 1 bathroom and 1 sleeping loft. A large rock fireplace and wood is provided. Modern kitchens are fully equipped with electric stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, cooking utensils and dishes with a washer and dryer in each cabin. Maximum capacity of these cabins is 8 persons each.

The Historic Ranch House was built in 1906 and was originally a stagecoach stop providing rest and lodging for travelers along the Applegate Trail. We still enjoy providing rest and refreshment for weary travelers today in this beautifully decorated home with a sweeping view of the Ranch and large sitting deck. It has 4 bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen or full bed and a twin bed, all with linens. There are 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with all major appliances, microwave oven, cooking utensils and dishes. Sitting room downstairs has a sleeper sofa. The Ranch House is ideal for adult groups, couples, and small retreats.

Pets are allowed in our Shasta and Aspen Cabins, but are not allowed in or near any of our other accommodations. If you are unable to book one of our pet-friendly cabins and must leave your animal companion behind when visiting the Box-R, you are welcome to make friends with the Box-R chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and rabbits in Grandma's Barnyard!

Deposits:	First night’s lodging fee required with reservation (starting 2008).
Cancellations:	For each cabin reserved $100 is non refundable. Additionally if we are unable to rebook the accommodations held for you, you are subject to 50% payment for your booking if you cancel less than 60 days in advance.
Payments:	Cash, Checks, Visa and MasterCard Accepted
*Holidays:	New Year, Presidents Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving week and Christmas break (Dec 20-Jan 3). All Holiday stays require a 2-night minimum reservation.
